Synopsis

The documentary follows the journey of Steeven Labady, a Haitian dancer whose life has been shaped by migration, displacement, and resilience. After fleeing Haiti, Steeven’s path took him through the Dominican Republic, Switzerland, refugee camps in Germany, and eventually to the United States in 2023. Along the way, he confronted racism, violence, legal uncertainty, economic hardship, and the constant search for a place to belong.

Throughout his journey, dance remained his anchor. Through movement, Steeven transforms adversity into artistic expression and survival into resistance.
