More than 8 years without elections, a crisis for more than 6 years, a political, social, economic and security crisis with thousands of deaths, more than half a million displaced people, thousands of cases of rape and violence of all kinds suffered by women, today we have a transitional government in Haiti. As organizations that have mobilized for all these years to denounce the situation in Haiti, we did this work, this policy framework to propose to the government of transition what must be done with the Haitian Women, for the Haitian Women during this transition. For an equitable, fair, efficient and effective transition in a country where Women have been historically excluded and invisibilised in all spaces that decide for their lives, their rights and their future. That must stop.
